EXPLANATION OF LISTENING COMPREHENSION

PART III LISTENING COMPREHENSION

SECTION A STATEMENT

只要理解词组make head (s) or tail (s) of …

stay up = sit up: 熬夜,不睡
nine times out of ten:

词组nothing less than = nothing (little) short of 意思是“不亚于,不少于,同…

prior to = before:在…
check into (a hotel, hospital):

run across = come across = fall across = run into = bump into = meet with = meet by chance:

Chinese ink wash painting:

答案为A。

词组second to none = next to none:(口)不比任何人差,首屈一指,无与伦比

SECTION B CONVERSATION
